GETTING TO HELIFEST
HeliFest takes place at the incredible Weston Park, as part of the Weston Park Model Airshow - a stunning venue in the heart of the UK countryside.
Whether you're travelling by car, train or plane, Weston Park is easy to reach and well signposted on approach.
BY CAR
Weston Park is located near Shifnal, Shropshire (TF11 8LE). It’s easily accessed via the M6 and M54 motorways:
- 8 miles from Telford
- 28 miles from Birmingham city centre
- M6 Junction 12 – 8 miles away
Free parking is available on-site. Follow event signage and marshal directions on arrival.
BY TRAIN
The closest major station is Telford Central, with direct services from Birmingham, Shrewsbury, and beyond. From there, local taxis and rideshares are available to reach the site (approx. 15–20 min drive).
BY AIR
For international and domestic visitors:
- Birmingham International Airport – 40 miles
- East Midlands Airport – 52 miles
CAMPING + ARRIVAL
If you’ve booked a camping pitch, entry is available from Thursday through to Monday morning.
You’ll be directed by stewards on arrival.
Please note: Disabled camping is limited, so inform gate staff as soon as you arrive if needed.
